 For the Casper Cross-Country Course:

AGREEMENT BETWEEN RIDERS ON THE THREE TRAILS EQUESTRIAN PARK IN NORTH CASPER PARK AND THE GREATER WYOMING CHAPTER OF THE MOUNTAIN STATES EVENTING ASSOCIATION

Users of the three Trails Equestrian Park are required to purchase a User = s Card ($20 annually or $10 per day) and to sign this release.

  1. All riders must wear approved safety equipment as required by the United States Eventing Association rules and will avoid out-of-control riding.   Required safety equipment includes an ASTM approved helmet with fixed harness, and smooth-soled shoes or boots with heels (no sneakers unless designed for riding).   A safety vest is strongly suggested for all riders jumping fences.
  2. All trucks and trailers should use Parking Lot 2 at the Events Center.   All riders and users must clean up all hay, straw, bedding, manure and other trash before leaving the parking lot. All horses must be hand led across Events Center Drive at a walk at the designated horse crossing.
  3. Horses will not be allowed to graze or run loose in the park, in order to minimize the impact to the fragile vegetation.
  4. No dogs unless on a leash.
  5. For safety reasons, anyone riding on the cross-country course must be accompanied by someone, either on foot or on horseback.
  6. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  7. Horseback riding is only allowed within the Equestrian Park boundaries.
  8. The course is open daily from dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.
  9. Cards are renewable each year on December 1.

*******************************************************************************************

I, the undersigned, have read the above rules of this agreement for the Three Trails Equestrian Park and do agree to abide by these rules. Also, I do realize that cross-country riding is a high-risk sport and am participating at my own risk.   I hereby release and hold harmless the Greater Wyoming Chapter of Mountain States Eventing Association, its officers and members, the City of Casper and the Casper Parks and Recreation Department and its employees, from all liability for accidents, damage, injury, or illness to horses, owners, riders, employees, attendants, spectators, or any other person or property, suffered while riding this course for schooling, recreation or competition purposes.
